Crystal Palace standout Michael Olise is one of the names in the rumor mill linked to Paris Saint-Germain. Moreover, the 22-year-old is drawing interest from Premier League clubs and one journalist believes that Newcastle United are a serious threat.

Since Olise made the move from Reading to Crystal Palace back in 2021, he’s really come into his own as one of the standout talents in the Premier League.

This season, he’s been on fire, netting an impressive 10 goals and providing five assists in just 18 matches. It’s clear he’s cemented his place as one of the league’s top rising stars.

As a result, there’s a long list of suitors looking to lure the player away from Selhurst Park. Journalist Ben Jacobs commented on the latest regarding Olise, and he sees Newcastle being in the race if they can raise the funds since the Frenchman won’t come cheap.

“I also expect Newcastle to bring in a right-sided wide forward or winger, especially with Miguel Almiron struggling for goals,” Jacobs wrote in his latest column for CaughtOffside. “Newcastle will listen to offers for the Paraguayan, having verbally agreed to a deal close to €30m in January with Saudi side Al-Shabab, only to find the player didn’t want to move.”

“Michael Olise, who is a Manchester United target, is a possibility if funds allow. Olise has a complicated release clause that can be triggered in the region of £60-65 million.”

A recent report reveals that, along with PSG, Aston Villa, Arsenal, and Manchester United are all in the race to sign the Crystal Palace star this summer.
